We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee part of our Utility Arb operations in ROI. This pivotal role involves managing and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional services to our clients.
You’ll have the autonomy to drive efficiencies, ensure service excellence, and contribute to our mission of sustainable operations. This role requires an experienced professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of Arboriculture industry.
Key Responsibilities;
- Oversee and manage the delivery of Utility Arb services across the region.
- Lead, motivate, and develop field-based teams to achieve high standards of performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention, particularly with commercial clients in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
- Collaborate with operational and support teams to optimize service delivery and drive continuous improvement
- Create business development opportunities through existing and new clients.
- Monitor and manage financial performance, including full P&L responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
This role is field based with a mix of being out on site in the field, working from home and regularly attending meetings at both our offices and our clients' offices across ROI
The person
This role is perfect for a passionate and experienced Senior leader with a background in Arboriculture or Horticulture with a strong arb knowledge. Whatever your role now you will need,
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and inspire teams in a field-based environment.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with the ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.
- P&L Experience: Demonstrated success in managing profit and loss responsibilities.
- Client Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with highly commercial clients, operating effectively in challenging environments.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results.
- Driving License: A full, clean driving license is essential due to the field-based nature of the role.
