Grounds Maintenance Operative

About The Role
You will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting,strimming, hedge pruning and flower bed maintenance for clients across theNorthern Ireland Housing Executive. Requirements
- A full valid UK driving licence & B+E (towing trailers) will be mandatory
- Prior experience in Grounds Maintenance, using hand & mechanical tools, with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset
- Willingness to learn and work well in a team
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- PA1 and PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential
Responsibilities
- Grass Cutting: Regularly cut grass areas to maintain an even height and healthy appearance.
- Weed Control: Identify and eliminate weeds using appropriate methods and tools to promote healthy plant growth.
- General Landscape Maintenance: Assist with the care and maintenance of gardens, flower beds, and other landscaped areas.
- Litter and Debris Removal: Keep outdoor areas free from litter and debris to ensure a clean environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and care for tools and equipment used in grounds maintenance tasks.
