We currently have an opportunity for a part-time Groundsperson (Technical Services) to join the Department’s thriving grounds team, working at sports grounds under the control of the University, including College and commercial grounds.

About the Role
This is a part-time post for 20 hours per week (ideally 08:00 – 12:00 Monday - Friday) on a fixed term contract until 31 July 2025.
General duties include the preparation and maintenance of sports grounds, pitches and all-weather surfaces within the Sports Department’s remit, including external contracts.
This role focuses on specific technical sports grounds aspects at the Iffley Road sports site such as the running track, field event equipment, clay and grass tennis courts and hockey pitch, including watering system.
About You
Good communication skills are essential and professional experience in sports grounds work would be an advantage, although voluntary sports grounds work experience would be considered for an entry point Groundsperson.
A current driving licence is essential for this role as the post-holder will be required to drive tractors on public highways.
