Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a Gardener who has a can-do attitude who will join our team, at our client site based in Oxford.
The successful candidate will be contracted to 20 hours per week, and working hours to be agreed during interview stage.
Job Purpose
As a Gardener, you will deliver outstanding service, ensuring all client requirements and specifications are met. You will also be expected to operate the required tools and machinery, comply with health and safety standards, offer horticultural improvements, communicate with several stakeholders, support with ad hoc requests and perform general cleaning and gardening.
Skills and experiences:
- Experience of maintaining indoor and outdoor planters, lawn maintenance and weed control.
- Passionate about the environment with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to liaise and communicate regularly with your client in a professional manner handling issues and requests efficiently and in accordance with Nurture Landscapes procedures, offering innovations, additional services and performance feedback.
- Self-motivated with the ability to confidently work individually or as part of a team.
- Ability to show initiative and deliver high standards across all areas.
- Ability to liaise with several stakeholders and complete daily site reports.
- Experience in all aspects of grounds maintenance and health & safety measures.
- Spraying Certificates – NPTC PA1 & PA6 preferable, but not essential.
- Experience with using petrol two-stroke grass/hedge cutting equipment is preferable, but not essential.
- Flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers.
