This is an exciting opportunity to join the Council and undertake Arboricultural works in a customer focused and friendly team environment. The role involves assisting with a range horticultural and landscape construction and maintenance duties in parks, open spaces, playing fields and fine turf areas.
The successful applicant will carry out skilled horticultural operations, including the maintenance and planting of trees, shrubs and hedge cutting as well as daily use and routine care of all vehicles and powered plant/equipment such as mowers and strimmers. Knowledge and experience in arboriculture practices is essential together with the ability to work successfully in a team environment. The successful candidate will be primarily required to operate from facilities at based at Eckington Depot.
