- Ripley Junior School is based in Ripley Derbyshire and caters for children from aged 7 to 11 years.

- This is a pivotal role for the right candidate to help support and enhance our learning environment ensuring a high quality of hygiene and safety is maintained.
- The hours of work will be from 7.00am to approximately 2.00pm with a half an hour dinner to be taken at 1.00pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required at times according to the needs of the school.
- We are looking for a friendly, hardworking and reliable individual who will (also see the job description):
- Undertake general caretaking and maintenance duties, e.g. changing lightbulbs, making repairs/improvements to school property and machinery, fixtures and fittings and grounds maintenance
- Ensure internal and external areas remain clean, tidy and safe.
- Advise and collaborate with the headteacher/business manager to develop and improve internal and external areas of the school site.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained on items such as cleaning products, lightbulbs and paints.
- Undertake statutory health and safety checks and maintain all relevant records.
- Ensure all Health and Safety policies and risk assessments are followed and up to date
- Manage the premise servicing calendar
