What is required from you?
- A minimum of 24 months on your right to work
- Full time available - 40 hours per week
- A number of years in varied trades will be a great advantage, such as: joinery, plumbing, electrical, painting and decorating skills.
- Let us know any personal experience, related background or qualifications as this experience is all relevant too.
- The ability to work independently and on your own initiative will be imperative, whilst collaborating with the Home Manager to deliver quality work
A day in the life of a Maintenance Person:
- You will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements
- You will assess and undertake repairs including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, repairing doors and windows.
- If work cannot be completed internally, you will liaise with our head office team to refer the repair to a contractor.
- Safety is paramount, so you will ensure that the care home is safe for all of our residents.
- You will ensure that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
