Field Maintenance Operative - North East
Location: Covering Dignity Funeral Director branches within the North East region.
Full time, permanent, 38.33 Hours per week - occasional weekend work.
Salary: £25,000 per annum

Field Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining the facilities and grounds of our branches, ensuring they remain pristine, professional, and comforting for every visitor.

This role will suit someone who:
- Has previous experience in a maintenance, repair, or facilities role.
- Holds a Full UK Manual Driving License.
- Is physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on, active role.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Here is what a typical day could look like for you:
- Work closely with colleagues in branch to address maintenance requests promptly.
- Refresh and maintain the interiors and exteriors of our funeral director branches to the highest standard.
- Carry out minor property repairs, this will include but will not be limited to: Plumbing, electrical fixes and carpentry.
- Repair and refurbish furniture, fixtures, and fittings as needed
- Undertake general grounds duties, this will include but will not be limited to; hedge trimming, lawn mowing, jet washing.
- Conduct and document regular property inspections.
- Regional travel between branch locations to provide maintenance support as required.
