Arborist Climbers on a
full-time,
permanent basis to be based in the
Southwest. Locations include:
- Exeter, Devon (EX4 2HF)
- Clevedon, Somerset / Bristol (BS21 6XS)
- St. Austell, Cornwall (PL26 8PP)

As an
Arborist Climber, you’ll join our tree cutting team and play a key role in assisting the Team Leader to carry out work safely and effectively. If you have a keen interest in all aspects of arboriculture and you are looking to develop your skills, we would love to hear from you. Ideally you will have prior experience working in the utility sector. However, if you have experience in the domestic and commercial sector, we will still encourage you to apply as all necessary utility training can be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confidently carrying out climbing and groundsman duties in addition to driving and towing duties.
- Demonstrating competent climbing skills, rigging techniques and pruning skills.
- Adhering to health and safety standards and best practice at all times.
- Continuously developing your knowledge and skills including your understanding of tree growth characteristics and tree risk assessments.
Person Specification:
- Previous Arborist climbing experience.
- A willingness to learn and a keen interest in all aspects of Arboriculture.
- An individual who is willing to work as part of a team and take pride in their work.
- Qualified up to CS38 and CS39, however CS30 and CS31 prior credentials will also be accepted, and training will be given.
- Full UK Driving licence.
Desirable:
- Utility qualifications (up to UA2.2) would be a bonus however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
