District Estates Maintenance Manager - Southampton Council

If so, Southampton City Council are looking for a District Estates Maintenance Manager to work within their Housing Operations and Voids Services team.
We are looking for leaders to help in the delivery of several projects within our area they include but are not limited to Managing contractors carrying out void repair works and overseeing making safe regeneration properties.
You will manage the work of the maintenance team operations including staff, contractors, suppliers and back office administrative activities, within council policies and procedures, to meet the aims and objectives of the business / service. This includes working closely with the Housing Investment Team, Housing Management Team and Tenant Representatives to identify and deliver cost effective solutions to maximise available resources in improving the condition of the Council's housing stock. You will promote and enable new areas of business and maintain qualitative standards within commercial work areas.
