Our client, a well-established company in Horsham, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to become an essential part of their dynamic team. About the Role:
As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the landscapes of multiple properties. Your role will include a variety of gardening tasks to keep the grounds looking beautiful and inviting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, pruning, and mowing.
- Maintain and operate gardening equipment safely and efficiently.
- Apply pesticides and herbicides as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of plants and gardens to identify issues and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of garden maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding garden care and improvements.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a gardener or in a similar role.
- Valid driving license.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
- Spraying licenses PA1 and PA6.
