Position: Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Horsham
Salary: £11.50 - £13.50 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm (Initial 12-16 Week contract with high potential for permanent placement)

Are you passionate about working outdoors? Do you enjoy maintaining and managing green spaces to ensure they are safe, clean, and visually appealing? We are seeking dedicated Grounds Maintenance/Vegetation Operatives to join our client's team in Horsham.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that various environments are kept to a high standard by performing tasks such as pruning, trimming, and vegetation clearing. You will also be involved in ensuring that all areas are left clean and safe and that invasive plant species are managed effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vegetation maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming, and clearing.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure your safety and that of others.
- Identify and manage invasive plant species.
- Ensure all work sites are left clean and tidy upon completion.
- Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Previous experience in vegetation management or a related field.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Valid driving license.
