The high-performing Global Business Solutions Monetization Strategy & Operations (MSO) organization is essential to enabling TikTok's advertising business growth. We partner with business leaders in strategy setting, revenue planning, sales & client incentive policy-making, driving operational effectiveness in tooling and sales processes, and ensuring productive partnerships cross-functionally.
The Commercial Incentives Strategy & Operations Manager will be joining the MSO Commercial Incentives pod, responsible for developing the strategy, policy, and implementation of our regional incentives including yearly trading deals with top advertisers, short-term incentive programs, and industry & competition insights. This role focuses on leading key strategic and efficiency projects across Europe and globally, providing leading industry insights, and working cross-functionally to enable our Trading team as experts in our entire trading and incentives cycle and processes.
You will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategic guidelines and policies, change management initiatives, end-to-end system development, and ad-hoc projects. We're looking for a critical thinker who can spot bottlenecks, identify ways to remove them effectively through data and qualitative research, and execute the planned changes with a clear timeline to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive pan-European and global programs end-to-end, across key topics including Commercial incentives strategy and policy setting, program efficiency and process optimisation, operational excellence.
- Lead external and internal market research on industry and competitor benchmarking, advertising agencies landscaping, ads products/emerging tech, with emphasis on new insights generation and evolving trends.
- Analyse internal data to assess key trends, opportunities, and risks and play a role in the systemization and automation of all our commercial incentive programs.
- Liaise with MSO HQ team (based in Beijing) to ensure alignment to global policies and coordination of global/regional priorities and road maps.
- Cross-functional collaboration and business partnering (e.g., Trading, Product, Finance, Creatives, Legal).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced company - high growth start-up, management consulting, investment banking, tech platforms, etc.
- Experience using data to create compelling stories that communicate key messages across the organization and influence various levels of management decision-making.
- Ability to manage end-to-end programs with full lifecycle ownership and change management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with major sales CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Ads Platforms (e.g., Google Ads Manager, Facebook) is a plus.
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills in English are essential for this role's success.
- Fast learner, ability to independently multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Experience working cross-functionally with various internal teams, including Trading, Legal, Finance, Sales, Systems, and Product.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization software, BI tools, or SQL is a plus.
- Knowledge, understanding, or experience working in an adtech environment would be a great benefit in this role.
