JOB SUMMARY
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to lead the team at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Tudor Park Country Club.
The Role:
As Maintenance Manager, you will manage all maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. You will be accountable for managing the departmental consumables and utilities budget as well as capital expenditure projects. You will ensure that preventative maintenance plans are in place to maintain the product and support energy conservation. You will be responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements and lead the emergency response team for all facility issues.
You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Ensure building and equipment licenses and certifications are current
- Maintain property life safety systems, fire fighting equipment, sprinkler systems and alarm systems
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure they are ready for guests arrival prior to be handed back to front office
- Deliver memorable guest experiences which support in driving Intent to recommend scores
- Monitor and analyze guest satisfaction survey results to ensure these continually improve
- Work alongside front office and housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrival
- Ensure the team action and rectify any maintenance issues which are reported
- Ensure hotel and team are using Transcendent Maintenance system
- Ensue all guest complaints are resolved in a timely manor and logged correctly
- Anticipate guest needs to deliver an above and beyond experience
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service experiences
- Prepare departmental rota’s, ordering and payroll inline with budget
- Manage the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems
- Manages and controls heat, light and power and recommends current best methods for energy conservation and economical facility operations
- Develop specifications and requirements for service contracts and administers such contracts to support building needs
- Distributes preventive maintenance and repair work orders and monitors timeliness and quality of completion
- Develops a long term plan for preventative maintenance and asset protection and overseeing execution of plan.
- Contacts contractors for bids and supervising construction to ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary guidelines
- Recommends or arranges for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipment
- Selects and orders or purchasing new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.
- Assist other departments, wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships within the whole hotel
- Recruit, train and develop maintenance team members and support in developing our next maintenance manager
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

This role offers and annual salary of £37,658.40 as well as an annual bonus plan allowing you to earn up to 10% of your salary.
