Location: South Region (Suffolk, Essex, Kent, London, Berkshire, Hampshire)
Salary: £12.50 - £13.46ph
Hours: Mon - Fri, 08:00 - 16:00

Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of OurClient for a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to help maintain multiple sites to the highest standards.

About the Client:
Our Client is a specialist in high-quality landscaping, play, and fitness construction. They take pride in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for their clients, ensuring they remain safe, attractive, and well-kept.

About the Role:
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring green spaces, landscapes, and pathways are maintained to an excellent standard. Your work will directly impact the appearance and functionality of various outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain safe, tidy, and visually appealing throughout the seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

Grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, and general grounds maintenance
Planting, weeding, and maintaining flower beds and shrubbery
Operating and maintaining landscaping machinery and equipment
Ensuring pathways, driveways, and outdoor areas remain clean and well-kept
Identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety issues
Adhering to all health & safety regulations

Requirements:

Essential:

Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscape gardening
Ability to use hand tools and power equipment effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
A valid UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

PA1 & PA6 Spraying Licences
CSCS
Additional horticultural qualifications or landscaping experience
