Role Overview
Reporting to the Workshop & Equipment Manager, the Turf Equipment Technician will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair of a diverse fleet of golf course maintenance equipment. This role involves both onsite and offsite maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in various golf course maintenance equipment, including diesel, electric, and gasoline-powered vehicles.
- Perform regular servicing and sharpening of mowing equipment.
- Execute job cards for completed works.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

Experience and Qualifications
- Mechanical experience is essential.
- Electro-hydraulic experience is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a mechanical role.
- Full UK driving license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in operating reel and bed knife grinders.
- Welding/fabrication experience.
- Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and hydraulic systems.
- Practical experience in greenkeeping or working with golf course equipment.
- Trailer license.
