The role involves maintaining playing surfaces and landscapes to a high standard as part of a three-person team.
Responsibilities include daily upkeep of sports surfaces, creating and marking playing areas, and operating maintenance equipment safely. Adherence to health and safety regulations is essential, ensuring personal and public safety.
Candidates should possess general grounds maintenance knowledge, relevant experience, and qualifications such as at least two GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, along with specific certificates in tractor driving and pesticide application. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate practical skills in line marking for various sports.
