Chappell Enterprises UK is seeking a UK Sales Manager to drive business growth in the retail and residential markets while working with an innovative product range.
About the Role
This role is remote, with an expectation to attend in-person meetings approximately once a month. You will play a key role in growing our market presence by developing new opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and providing exceptional service. You will work across Sports Coatings products and support our clients' solutions such as Resin Flooring, Cementitious Screeds, Dry Shakes, and Concrete Repair.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with sports coatings contractors, architects, and specifiers.
- Proactively identify client needs and offer tailored solutions to meet project demands.
Business Development:
- Approach projects of all sizes, engaging with contractors, applicators, and end-users.
- Collaborate with industry professionals to promote products and secure new business opportunities.
Sales and Presentations:
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations for clients.
- Recommend suitable products based on project requirements, ensuring client satisfaction.
Achieving Targets:
- Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and objectives.
- Prepare competitive quotations, negotiate effectively, and close deals confidently.
Financial Management:
- Ensure timely payment collections in line with agreed terms.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to support financial planning.
Industry Awareness:
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and advancements within the construction sector.
Requirements
Essential:
- 5+ years of experience in sports coatings sales or related industries.
- Proven experience with line marking is essential.
Beneficial:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction materials.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
