Maintenancee Manager, £60,000, Northamptonshire
About the Role
The Maintenance Manager will report into the Site Engineering Manager and be responsible for improving the performance of the equipment on site.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth running of the PPM part of the business within the Engineering function.
- Extensive manufacturing experience in the FMCG sector.
- PPM implementation and management skills.
- Ensure KPI’s are met and communicate with internal stakeholders of any issues.
- Practical experience of overseeing PPM schedules, quality, and waste.
- Proven track record of working with Shire Pirana CMM system or similar.
- Strong leadership, man management, and support.
- Projects forecasts and improvement plans.
- Manage any downtime issues using the CMM.
- Distribution of workload to the team.
- First and second line management.
- Appraisals of the staff.
- Adhering and delivering on KPI’s e.g. Planned maintenance, Health and Safety, and quality.
- Providing technical leadership – guiding the team on a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure.
Qualifications
The successful Maintenance Manager will have proven experience in a similar managerial role and hold some the following qualifications:
ONC qualification as a minimum in an Electrical discipline or Multi skilled Engineering qualification, C&G, NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance
Time served apprentice
Multi-skilled Engineer
HNC level in electrical, mechanical or production maintenance engineering
