Job purpose:
To carry out routine golf course maintenance tasks on the 7019yd parkland course as directed by the Course Manager and Deputy Course Manager.
Main responsibilities:
- Perform all greenkeeping tasks to a high standard as instructed.
- Tasks will include course set up, cutting playing surfaces, bunker raking, strimming, blowing, range ball collecting and cleaning, divotting and general presentation duties.
- Ensure pre-start checks are carried out.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Cleaning machinery after use
Person Specification:
- Quick Learner and enthusiastic
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Punctual and reliable
- Knowledge of golf desirable
- Previous Greenkeeping experience or Groundsman experience is very much desirable but not essential for the right candidate as full training will be given.
- Ability to work as part of a team of 6.
- This is a manual job.
- Good common sense is essential.
- Must be reasonably local and have own transport.

Basic hours will be 40 hrs per week
Monday - Friday hours of work will be 6am - 2pm
Occasional weekend overtime may be available,
Full training on machinery,
Uniform, including boots and waterproof's and PPE will be provided.
College education and certification will be offered.
Free use of the golf course.
Hourly rate will be dependent upon age, experience and individual.
