In this role, you will have use of a company van and fuel card.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join bpha’s In House Maintenance Service, who make a difference to our customer’s lives everyday by delivering a high-quality repairs service designed around them.
We operate across Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding areas, and we utilise the latest technology to ensure that we not only deliver a great experience for our customers, but for our colleagues as well.
We are currently looking for a Groundworker/Multi Trade Operative to be responsible for the delivery and completion of repairs within our newly formed small works team to help resolve customer enquiries and issues.
Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor you will be working in a Groundworker role and will deliver a high standard of works whilst stringently adhering to all policies, procedures, processes, controls, systems, required training and record keeping. You will ensure that we operate in a safe, customer centric, environmentally ethical, and accountable way and maximise your first time fix rate.
What You Will Be Doing
- Applying your technical knowledge, skills and training to complete the repairs assigned to you in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ensure that the repairs required are diagnosed correctly and works completed are to a high standard & quality
- Delivering a service which understands the needs of our customers and delivers a positive outcome for them
- To undertake additional duties commensurate with the level of this role as required

We’d Love To Meet Someone With
- NVQ level 2 or higher in a Construction trade / City & Guilds 6219 –07
- Substantial experience of all aspects of Groundwork/Multi trade maintenance works and Responsive Repairs.
- A strong, demonstratable commitment to excellent in customer service
- A full Uk driving licence
- Ideally educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Good and relevant health and safety knowledge
- High levels of organisation, problem solving and communication skills
