Stonehaven Golf Club – Assistant Greenkeeper
Suggested Advert
We have a great opportunity available for a greenkeeper to join our current small team as an Assistant Greenkeeper, reporting directly to the Greenkeeper.
Stonehaven Golf Club has been ranked no 90 in Scotland’s Top 100 Courses by Golf World, offering what the rating panel described as “brilliant fun” to play. The course sets a stiff challenge for all standards of golfer and can be a test of your short game, featuring a number of dramatic short holes played over deep gullies and along the top of steep cliffs. The course also provides stunning views of the North Sea, of Stonehaven Bay and, to the south, the ancient and world famous fortress of Dunnottar Castle. Over the last 12 months or so, the club has made substantial and dramatic changes to one of its cliff-top holes – a dramatic new challenge for all golfers which will open in April 2025.
The club, with about 450 members, has a small management team reporting to the club’s executive council. Greenkeeping duties will include maintenance of all areas, general machinery maintenance and upkeep.
