St Helena Hospice is seeking a Maintenance Technician, to work in the maintenance team on a permanent contract.
The role is for a 37.5 hours per week working on a rota basis. Shift patterns are: Monday to Friday either 7.00am – 3.00pm, 8.00am - 4.00pm or 10.00am – 6.00pm, plus on call rota.

The key priorities of a maintenance technician are:
- To ensure that St Helena grounds, buildings and equipment are maintained properly and safely to agreed standards through a range of general maintenance.
- To be responsible for undertaking and supervising a range of general internal/external maintenance and decoration of St Helena premises and grounds.
- To assist in the provision of an efficient maintenance and portering service to St Helena, ensuring the security of the buildings and safety of patients, staff and visitors at all times.
