Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors and is keen to develop skills in grounds maintenance. Working within a team that has won a National Principal Award, you will contribute to various maintenance tasks ensuring the highest standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Excellence: Perform a variety of tasks such as cutting grass, operating equipment like strimmers and hedge cutters, blowing leaves, clearing paths, weeding, pruning, watering, and planting.
- Operational Proficiency: Clean and maintain equipment to ensure it's in good working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Assist in additional tasks as directed to meet the department's objectives, working effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Customer Service Commitment: Demonstrate a polite and professional attitude, ensuring great customer service.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in garden maintenance preferred but not essential.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well both independently and in a team.
- Must be able to work without supervision, prioritise workload, and remain calm in stressful situations.
- A clean driving licence is essential, with a sound understanding of health and safety at work.
- PA1 and PA6 certifications are desirable.
