Have you been looking to move into a team that will really appreciate your skills? If the answer is yes, then keep reading.
As a Home Ownership Assistant you’ll be supporting the Home Ownership team to ensure that all the wheels keep turning. The team remit is large and you’ll find that no two days are the same, you could be arranging meetings, data inputting, completing financial admin and possibly travelling in our communities to complete inspections and undertake home visits.
You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in project work, supporting the Home Ownership Projects Officer, so this will also offer variety to the role.
The role is flexible and you’ll be able to work from home, the office, a coffee shop, whichever suits you, however there will be times that you need to be either in an office or our communities, so being able to travel in our operating region is important. Our region stretches through Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, so ideally you be based in this area.
About You
You’re going to find that this role will draw upon all your admin skills. You’ll need to be a confident IT user. You’ll be happy to create strong working relationships within the team and the wider business.
Being able to manage your time and workload will be a natural skill and ensuring a job is seen through to the end will be important to you.
Your willingness to learn will mean that you won’t need to have worked in a housing environment in the past, although this could be beneficial. You’ll be trained by your team and they will be happy to share their knowledge with you.
This is a really interesting role and will give you some great insight into working in housing.
