Job Summary
Castlerock Golf Club are seeking to recruit an experienced Greenkeeper to join our current Greens team. A position of Greenkeeper has become available, and applications are welcome from qualified Greenkeepers looking to develop their career on one of Ireland top rated Links Courses.
The day-to-day presentation of our established links course, for our active membership and wide visitor base is a key priority, along with the development of the course and its ranking within the golfing community over the coming years.
We are currently recruiting for the following position:
Greenkeeper Salary (dependant on experience and qualifications)
This role is suitable for a qualified and experienced Greenkeeper who is fully competent and can work without supervision.
The Ideal Candidate - The ideal applicant will have;
- 2+ years’ experience
- A positive work attitude, be flexible and self-motivated
- Strong work ethic including pride and attention to detail
- Able to work to the Club’s flexible weekend rota system
- Resourceful and organised
- Be professional in appearance and actions
- Ability to prioritise appropriately
Qualification
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and above
- PA1, PA2 and PA6a chemical application licenses
- Digger qualifications desirable but not essential
