Job Title: Apprentice Greenkeeper
Overview:
Join our team as a Apprentice Greenkeeper and play a role in maintaining the grounds and landscapes to create visually appealing and healthy outdoor environments and at the same time working towards a NVQ in sports turf management.
As a Greenkeeper, you will utilize your skills in groundskeeping, gardening, and landscaping maintenance to ensure the overall beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.
Duties:
- Maintain the grounds by mowing, edging, and weeding to uphold a neat appearance
- Operate both ride-on and pedestrian mowers efficiently
- Perform irrigation tasks to ensure proper watering of playing surfaces
- Assist in constructing landscape features like pathways and retaining walls
- Work collaboratively with team members and independently as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring maintenance or improvement
