Job Title: Maintenance Manager - Multi-Venue (Hotels & Bars)

Job Summary<
/strong>:We are seeking an experienced and versatile Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations across multiple venues, including hotels, bars, and other hospitality establishments. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of various maintenance disciplines and will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operationally efficient. This role requires a proactive, hands-on approach to carrying out daily maintenance tasks, and emergency repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management: Ensure that all facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, bars, and back-of-house spaces, are maintained to a high standard. Implement a preventive maintenance program to minimise downtime and reduce the likelihood of major repairs. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with the relevant code of practice, health and safety regulations, and company standards. Respond to and manage emergency situations, including power outages, plumbing failures, and other critical incidents.
Inventory and Equipment Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts. Ensure all maintenance equipment is in good working order and regularly serviced. Follow company system for tracking and managing maintenance requests and completed work.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Maintenance person or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and address technical issues quickly and effectively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to address emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in a relevant technical field (e.g. Joinery, electrical, plumbing).
Strong knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient building practices.
