Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Arborist to join our Team in delivering an effective and efficient arboricultural service for nichecology®.
You will perform a full range of arboricultural duties both on the ground and at height. You will maintain exceptionally high standards of safety and quality, playing a crucial role in providing the first-class arboricultural service required by us and our clients.
You should be qualified in various arboricultural disciplines, including (but not limited to) the use of chainsaws on the ground, dismantling of trees, felling mature trees, tree condition assessments and working at height. You must also be capable of performing aerial rescues in emergencies. Experience operating a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) would be beneficial.
The ability to work well within an established team is essential. You should be able to interpret plans, drawings and briefing notes and communicate effectively with service users, including members of the public, clients and team members.

Qualifications
- Forestry and Arboriculture skills
- Tree Identification and Certified Arborist certification
- Experience working with trees
- Knowledge of ecological principles related to trees and forestry
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Environmental Science, or related field
