Job Description
We are seeking fully ticketed and reliable Groundworkers for an ongoing project in St Austell. This role offers an immediate start with typical working hours from 07:30 to 17:00, and the option to work weekends if desired. We offer highly competitive rates of pay for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various groundwork tasks including drainage, foundations, concreting, and site preparation.
- Precisely lay paving, kerbs, and block work.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators and dumpers (with required certification).
- Assist with site setup, setting out, and levelling.
- Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card.
- Full certification and tickets for operating relevant machinery (e.g., CPCS or NPORS).
- Demonstrated experience in groundwork roles.
- Strong reliability, work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends if needed.
