Trainee Greenkeeper
An opportunity is available to join the dedicated hard working team of 7 as a trainee Greenkeeper at Langley park golf club in Beckenham. BR3 6SZ.
After an initial probation period, the club will invest in the successful applicants training and they will become qualified level 1 and 2 in sports turf / Horticulture
You will be involved in the maintenance of the golf course from mowing playing surfaces, raking bunkers to more advanced work such as spraying and construction.
The successful applicant will also be involved in the Golf clubs approach to a more sustainable working environment as we seek GEO certification.
Any previous experience in outdoor work would be beneficial but not essential.
Working hours.
40 hours per week
Weekend rota (maximum 4 hours day)
Pay
£17,500 - £22,000 per year depending on experience.
