We are looking to recruit volunteers to join our Together in Golf network. The purpose of this network is to enable England Golf to be proactive in achieving our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) aims with the support of individuals who have a passion for golf and want to help golf continue to progress and grow.
We Are Looking For Golfers From All Pathways And All Golfer Journeys To Be Part Of a 20-25 Strong Network, And Are Looking For People Who
- Are involved within the golf community e.g., player, golf club member, iGolfer, golf facility user, Community Golf Instructor, Activator, golf professional
- Align with one or more of the following characteristics:
- Disabled person or person with a long-term health condition or neurological diverse condition
- Woman
- Ethnically diverse community
- Have a strong commitment and genuine desire to make a positive difference in golf.
- Are confident to share their experiences and offer feedback on a wide variety of projects to ensure that the game of golf is more inclusive and accessible than ever.
The group will meet as a minimum, 4 times per year. 3 meetings will be virtual and 1 will be a face-to-face session, held at The National Golf Centre, Woodhall Spa.
You Will Need To Be
- Confident to share your journey, experiences and what golf means to you.
- Be supportive with communications across social media channels.
- Prepared to contribute to a variety of areas within England Golf, including the development of projects that support the achievement of the commitments within the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Framework.
The network will be managed and supported by our Lead Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Michelle McGill
