As a grounds operative you will be responsible for the upkeep and improvement in standards of the university grounds, interior/exterior planter, the grounds sustainability and wildlife.
You will need a working knowledge of plant species and species environment.
Previous experience of working within a large grounds maintenance function ideally using petrol powered garden machinery and the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service are also required.
As this role will involve transporting goods between campuses using University vehicles and the use of All terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) on site, a full UK driving licence is essential.
You will need to be customer focused, have good communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
