The
Garden Homes Landscape Maintenance Associate is responsible for the maintenance of 173 Garden Home Properties. This includes mowing, trimming, edging, blowing of all lawns, weeding of landscape beds, pruning of hedges and trees up to 15’, irrigation checks along with overseeing and performing quality control checks of the chemical spraying contract and the installation of mulch that is outsourced each year. Must be customer service orientated and comfortable interacting with homeowners and management daily.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Must be adaptable and have a "can do mentality"
- Inspect and maintain all plant material to include sod for all homes
- Perform yearly mulch installations along with quality control checks during and after installation.
- Maintain Garden Home landscape beds, prioritize order of work, and assign for maintenance and care.
- Fertilize lawns and shrubs by outsourced provider for all homes.
- Perform irrigation system maintenance .
- Perform daily quality control inspections of all work performed by crew.
- Perform monthly area storm drain checks.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operational.
- Operate Department vehicles, trailers, and work carts.
- All other duties as assigned by General Services Manager.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to communicate with all team members
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday (7:00 AM- 3:30 PM) With an occasional Saturday work schedule due to inclement weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills
- High personal attendance standards
- Ability to focus under pressure and maintain a professional atmosphere
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Experience in landscaping and grounds required
- 5 years experience in residential setting or equivalent
- Knowledge in the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
- Certification in Horticulture.
