Cleanleaf is seeking a
Landscaper to join our growing team! The Landscaper is regarded as the entry-level or apprentice position and will work under direct supervision from higher level technical team member and/or management staff.
ATTENTION: THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION BETWEEN 04/01/2024 AND 11/30/2024
About The Role
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Demonstrate integrity, strong initiative, work ethic, as well as a focus on safety and quality of work on a continuous basis
- Perform vegetation management through the use of mowers and handheld, motorized trimers
- Perform regular maintenance on all mowing equipment
- Under supervision, perform Preventive Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Cleanleaf, customer, and OEM standards
- Under supervision, perform Corrective Maintenance on solar and battery installations in accordance with Cleanleaf, customer, and OEM standards, ensuring that the root cause has been identified and corrected
- Ensure that work being performed in the area meets or exceeds Cleanleaf's O&M standards
- Perform panel washing through the use of water fed brushes
- Complete assigned task safely, correctly, and within the allotted time
- Ensure all PPE, tools, and equipment assigned to the employee are accounted for, maintained in good condition, repaired or replaced as required
- Correctly document all work in a Service Visit and Case within Cleanleaf’s CMMS. Correct documentation includes proper grammar and spelling, photography, thermal photography, and completion of checklists
- Such other duties and responsibilities as may be determined by the Area Supervisor
Safety Duties & Responsibilities
Safety is a core value at Cleanleaf and the Landscaper must:
- Read, understand and sign all safety procedures
- Attend weekly safety meetings
- Receive, inspect, and maintain all required PPE
- Complete all required safety training
- Ensure every safety incident known to the employee is reported timely and accurately
- Ensure every safety incident involving the employee is fully investigated, documented and corrective actions are implemented
Required Skills & Experience
While no one individual will possess them all, the successful candidate will bring many of the following experiences, skills, and attributes:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must become DOT-certified upon management request (will depend on assigned responsibilities)
- Ability to communicate in English, both oral and written
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excitement about growing along with a fast-paced, dynamic company; comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to build, experiment, and iterate when the path forward is undefined
- A passion for renewable energy, addressing the climate crisis, and accelerating the clean energy transformation

The targeted pay scale for this role is $22/hr-$27/hr. Actual compensation will be based on an assessment of factors including the successful candidate's experience, skill, and other job-related factors.
