Reporting to Proximo’s Regional Director, as the Key Account Manager, Golf/Country Clubs, you will manage Proximo’s brand portfolio in primary focus on premise with a secondary focus off premise. In your partnership, you will champion all promotional activities by building relationships with new and existing accounts and work with Distributor Sales Representatives and management to effectively grow the business.
To thrive in this role, you will use your problems solving, communication and analytical skills to implement promotion strategies across Queens and Long Island, NY regions.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Territory management. You have a proven track record of managing brand promotions within an assigned consumer goods and spirits industry territory. You will manage all Proximo Spirits brand promotional accounts, identify key on-premise promotional accounts, set promotional dates and times with an account, and attend and monitor brand promotions on-site.
- Project Management. You will develop a project plan- managing POX to ensure the use of key promotions. You will assist local management in creating brand programming with distributors. You will also identify key accounts for new brand launches. You have experience managing individual T&E budgets and tracking spending to ensure budget attainment.
- Analytical. You can synthesize complex or diverse information, collect and research data, and use intuition and experience to complement data. This is essential when sharing sales goals, objectives, and feedback with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-starter. You are fearless in taking initiative- independent actions and calculated risks. In this role, you will establish and maintain key relationships with all assigned distributors and key accounts in the marketplace.
- Communication. You have strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with internal Proximo team members at all levels of the organization, vendors, and customers (both internal and external). You don’t hesitate to share feedback to locate management on brand activity, pricing, and promotion and set regular calls to schedule and present Proximo Brands.
- Travel. Although we are a virtual-first team, you must be willing to travel for client meetings, which will be required.
