LANDSCAPER | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs general lawn maintenance on commercial properties of clients
- Handles labor to ensure water drainage systems are in working order-includes manual digging, mowing, planting, installing sod, site clean-up, etc.
- Inspects storm drain inlets, yard inlets, pipes, ditches, and streams
- Identifies issues with erosion, mechanical malfunctions, and structural failures
- Identifies common noxious weeds or plant species
- Completes appropriate paperwork such as service receipts or reports of work performed
LANDSCAPER | POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS
- Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holidays required
Please Note
- Home Weekends unless on-call.
- Travels Monday-Friday if route goes out of town.
- Local work allows for home time during business week!
In order to visit client locations in Kansas and Nebraska
- Travel up to 100% Monday - Friday every week unless performing local work.
- Scheduled Overtime During High Seasons (summer months)
LANDSCAPER | REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Valid driver's license is required for insurability purposes.
LANDSCAPER | PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Licensed herbicide applicator is a plus
- Class E CDL preferred, but not required
- At least one year of general labor, landscape, or construction experience preferred
LANDSCAPER | WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Exposure to conditions such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures for periods of time is possible.
This employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.
