Position Summary
Responsible to maintain greens of the golf course and surrounding areas based on department standards.
Job Duties
- Maintain sand trap areas.
- Operate equipment in order to maintain the area (e.g., blower, weed-eater, watering equipment set-up).
- Mow and maintain greens, tees, roughs, and approaches.
- Hand water designated areas.
- Maintain and repair irrigation system (Greenskeeper II).
- Apply fertilizer, insecticide, fungicide appropriately (Greenskeeper II).
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations
- Valid California driver’s license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law.
- This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.
Greenskeeper I
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must be able to safely utilize hand tools and landscaping equipment.
- Must be able to lift, push, and carry heavy objects (see Physical Requirements)
Greenskeeper II
- The above, plus previous experience in golf maintenance preferred.
Compensation
Base Pay Start Rate: $21.00
