A unique opportunity has arisen at Woking Golf Club for a forward thinking dynamic professional to join the team in managing and administering the finance operation of the Club.
Reporting to the Managing Director the key responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance of Club Accounting records on Sage
- Reconciliation of Banking Income
- Maintenance of Purchase Ledger ensuring invoices are appropriately authorised, entered and paid when due.
- Monitoring and reconciling bank balances
- Processing monthly payroll systems ensuring appropriate submission of any HMRC requirements.
- Preparation of monthly accounts
- Timely and accurate preparation for submission of Club VAT and other tax returns.
- Preparation of Year end accounts and related papers and liaising with auditors.
- Capital management
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets
- Performance monitoring and updated forecasts on prepared budgets.
- Prepare annual member subscription renewals ensuring they are timeously collected.
