Job Profile
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be joining our Maintenance team and dedicated team of Ground Care professionals in providing a quality landscape service.
Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance and management of hard surfaces.
Team Leader – Managing your own team of 2 or 3 to deliver grounds maintenance works, overseeing quality standards, and health and safety within your team, and to demonstrate company values through a positive culture and can-do attitude.
Operative – Working with your Team Leader to carry out the upkeep of the grounds to a high standard. We are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude, motivation drive positive change and to be a key member of the team.
Candidate Profile
You will be values driven and focused on delivering a great service:
- Demonstrable experience in grounds maintenance, including ride-on machinery and hand tools.
- Able to work safely using a range of equipment and hand tools e.g., strimmer’s, backpack blowers, pedestrian, and ride on mowers etc.
- Able to work on your own or as a part of a team, providing a good quality service with attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Positive and professional attitude
- Full driving licence
- DBS check
