Role Specifics
Working on a 5-star holiday home and lodge park, you will work with the team, taking the lead on the day to day operation of all grounds park and maintenance aspects. To be directly accountable for the financial and the efficient operation of your area of the park at all times. You will form an integral part of the park leadership team developing effective working relationships with all departments. You will be responsible for delivering excellence, working with all team members and departments to influence and collaborate. With a great personality, you will be able to relate to the team and customers alike, building a professional, but friendly environment for all to enjoy.
Your key responsibilities and focus will be on the daily running of the park’s grounds including: grass cutting, weeding, landscaping, edging, planting, litter picking and other external duties:
- Leading a Team
- Ensuring the park is well maintained at all times, to create a welcoming environment for holiday home owners and holiday makers alike
Walking the park regularly yourself and with the Head of Repairs and Maintenance, working collaboratively to ensure that the park is presented and maintained to the highest standard
- Providing excellent service at all times, responding to all queries in a professional and courteous manner
- Being hands on with: general grounds maintenance including: Mowing and strimming, general grounds maintenance including: cleaning the bin areas, maintaining gravel, decking and patio areas, litter picking etc. The upkeep of all garden areas and landscaping; plants, flowers, hedges and trees on the park Communicating with the maintenance manager & General Manager, keeping them informed regarding work completed and any issues or faults or concerns identified
- To review and drive improvements of standards across the park and an impeccable presentation in all areas, providing a standard of grounds maintenance of such high quality as to exceed customer satisfaction
- To utilise Company suppliers and ensure full and clear communication with all contractors, overseeing their work and signing off when complete Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the appropriate standard so as not to jeopardise service provision or the Health & Safety of your team or customers
