Location: Cranbrook, Kent
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 Per Annum DOE

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team, supporting the Maintenance Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of production and maintaining factory machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an engineering background who is eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Maintenance Manager with general maintenance tasks, ensuring machinery and production equipment run smoothly.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Support the Maintenance Manager on a daily basis with routine and critical tasks.
Maintain and clean factory machinery, ensuring everything is in optimal working condition.
Diagnose engineering faults on factory machinery and carry out necessary repairs.
Assist in the repair and upkeep of machinery, buildings, grounds, and other structures as needed.
Ensure that the internal and external areas of the premises are maintained to a high standard.
Keep the maintenance workshop clean, organized, and safe.
Undertake training as required to stay up-to-date with new technologies and procedures.
Carry out any other duties as required by the needs of the company.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

Proven experience working in an engineering background.
Strong ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs on machinery.
Good record-keeping skills to maintain accurate maintenance logs.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and use your initiative when needed.
